Silhouetch represents the combination of the words Silhouette and Etching. Silhouettes are typically black and white representations of persons, places, or objects. Etching refers to the act of sculpting or sketching designs. Combining both words into Silhouetch reflects the beautiful transformation to your desired Silhouette.

Moderate definition highlights the external obliques showing off the iliac crest of the hip bone. The most extreme female Ab Silhouetch definition is creation of a full six pack.

Silhouetch can also be performed in conjunction with a tummy tuck or lipo 360 if that fits your needs.

Breast Silhouetch

Breast Silhouetch defines your breast by contouring the surrounding front bra roll, upper back, back bra roll, and upper abdomen. If requested, this may be combined with a breast augmentation, breast augmentation with lift, breast reduction, breast reduction with implant, breast lift, or fat transfer to the breast.

Leg Silhouetch

The Leg Silhouetchwith basic definition highlights your internal curves and reduces the overall volume. Moderate definition reveals the iliotibial line of the outer thigh. Therefore, Ab Silhouetch should be combined with Pec Silhouetch (with or without pec fat transfer) if needed to create an overall highly defined masculine torso for the most natural appearance.

Pec Silhouetch

Male Pec Silhouetch includes sculpting the pectoralis muscle by artistically removing fat along its borders. This procedure is often performed with gynecomastia excision of male chest enlargement tissue as well as a fat transfer to the pecs. For a highly defined male torso, Ab Silhouetch and Back Silhouetchshould be combined.

Pec Silhouetch with Fat Transfer to the Pecs

Male Pec Silhouetch with Fat Transfer to the Pecs includes sculpting your pecs as well as transferring fat to the subpectoral plane to increase the volume of the pectoral region. Strategically removing fat (and in some cases gynecomastia excision) from specific areas while adding volume to your pecs will harmoniously reveal and naturally enhance the appearance your pec muscles.

Am I a Candidate for a Silhouetch ?

The best candidates for a Silhouetch procedure are patients who already lead a healthy lifestyle and eat a healthy diet, are at or close to their ideal body weight, and have areas of stubborn fat that are resistant to diet and exercise. Silhouetch is a body contouring procedure and is not intended to be a weight loss procedure. The best candidates just need a little bit of help to reveal their underlying anatomy and take the amount of definition in their body to the next level.

No, Silhouetch High Def Lipo Michigan has been performed on a 60 year old grandmother and 65 year old retirees! The average age of our male and female Silhouetch patients is 40 years old when taken together. The average age of women is 38 and men is 42. This is slightly younger than the average age of our patients undergoing basic liposuction which is 44 years old.

The length of time a Silhouetch procedure takes depends on the patient’s body mass index (BMI) and the number of areas treated. This aesthetic plastic surgery procedure can take anywhere from 1 to 4 hours. If we are treating someone with a lower BMI in just one or two areas then the procedure may take 1 hour. Full body treatment in a higher BMI patient may take as long as 4 hours. These are outpatient procedures so you will be going home at the end of the procedure.

Patients should expect some moderate discomfort, bruising, and swelling for a few days after the procedure. After abdominal liposuction it may feel like you did a crunches workout. Pain medications prescribed should help alleviate the discomfort after your procedure. You may still experience some mild pain up to 2-4 weeks post-op.

After having fat removed with liposuction, the swelling will be worse before it gets better and may take up to 1 month until you start to see your final results and 3-6 months to see your final results. Bruising generally goes away after a few days but taking Arnica pills starting 2 days pre-op and for about a week post-op may help.

The incisions used are stealth incisions which are hidden away from the typical view of others. Great care is taken to keep the incisions out of sight and as small as possible to allow the tiny liposuction cannulas to pass through under the excess skin to remove the fat. This is the critical component of these procedures being deemed minimally invasive. The incisions are usually only a few millimeters in size which is roughly the size of a pen dot.

Fat will not come back where it is permanently removed. You have a set number of fat cells from birth and they do not move from one area of the body to another. The fat cells grow or shrink in size if you gain weight throughout your life. When we perform liposuction, we are permanently removing fat from the areas treated. The fat will not come back to those areas. However, fat can grow in areas that were not treated, including visceral fat (deep belly fat that surrounds your internal organs).
You can return to work after 3 days to 1 week depending on how active you are at work. If you work from home or have a desk job then 3 days off is all you should need. If you have a position involving more activity such as lifting or a lot of walking then you should take 1 week off from work.

Silhouetch procedures are charged based on your body mass index (BMI), number of areas treated, how much fat you need to be removed, and location of treatment. Having your procedure done at our surgery center is more affordable than at a hospital where we cannot control expenses related to anesthesia and facility fees.

Recovery From Silhouetch

Patients should consider taking 3 days off from work and 1 month off from heavy lifting or strenuous exercises. Early results are seen at 1 month post-op, but it takes up to 3-6 months for all of the swelling to resolve. In the meantime, compression and massage will help the swelling to go down. Patients will need to wear compression garments 23 hours/day for 1 month, followed by 12 hours/day for 2 months, then as needed for 3 months. Massage should be performed daily for 15-30 minutes for 1 month. This will help decrease the swelling and smooth out any potential lumps or bumps. There will be drainage from the incision holes until they close after 24-48 hours.
