Periareolar or Donut

more visible than the keyhole one. The periareolar technique works well for those needing a moderate amount of chest tissue removed.

Double Incision

Two horizontal incisions are made across the chest, typically along the lower border of the pectoral muscles. These openings allow for the extensive removal of tissue and skin.

The nipple-areolar complex is usually resized and repositioned as part of the procedure. Double incision is often preferred for individuals with larger amounts of chest tissue. However, the scarring is more visible, and there is a higher risk of sensation loss.

Anesthesia
